Do I need to set up both sets of rudder steering cables?

The rudder steering cables will need to be tied from the foot braces to the rudder for foot steering. If you choose to use the hand steering, cables will need to be tied from the steering handle to the rudder. This will allow the rudder to be controlled by both the foot braces and the hand steering. Foot brace cables can be loosened when using the hand-steering to prevent them from sliding while hand-steering

NOTE: If you wish to pedal / hand-steer the Shearwater only, the rudder foot braces and cables can be removed.
