If your kayak was shipped by freight carrier (rather than a standard parcel carrier like USPS, UPS or FedEx), you may notice that your order shows as "fulfilled" or that early tracking updates say "delivered" or "at terminal" well before the kayak actually arrives at your address.
This is normal for freight shipments and happens because:
1. Freight carriers (such as Blueprint Logistics, Navia Freight, AP Freight, and ABF Freight) move large items like kayaks between regional terminals before final delivery. A status update showing the shipment has reached a terminal does not mean it has been delivered to your address.
2. Our order system marks an order as "fulfilled" once it has been handed off to the carrier for shipping, not once it is delivered to your door.
3. Final-mile delivery scheduling (the last leg from the local terminal to your address) is arranged separately and can take a few additional business days after the shipment reaches your regional terminal.
What to do if your order shows as fulfilled/delivered but hasn't arrived:
- Use the tracking number and carrier link provided in your shipping confirmation email to check the most current status directly with the carrier.
- If it has been several business days since the shipment reached your regional terminal with no delivery scheduled, contact the carrier directly using the tracking number, as they can often provide the most up-to-date delivery window.
- If you're still unsure, reach out to us with your order number and we'll follow up with the carrier on your behalf.
